Why this is hard (and why it matters)
Maths isn't marked on the final answer alone. Examiners award method marks for correct steps, even when the final number is wrong. Any marking tool that only checks the answer misses the point entirely.
Our engine reads your working line by line and maps each step to the specification's mark scheme, the way a real examiner would.
What you get back
For every submission you'll see:
- A mark out of the available total
- Per-step feedback showing which lines earned marks
- A confidence score, so you know when a human should double-check
- Suggested next questions targeting whatever you got wrong
Teacher review where it counts
When our confidence in a mark falls below a set threshold, it's flagged for teacher review rather than shown as final. Teachers can verify or override any AI mark in one click.
